We are proud to announce our partnership with the BLM in creating an east coast Mustang education and adoption facility. We currently have 6 mustangs on-site and are thoroughly enjoying the gentling process! These amazing living legends are the best teachers we have ever come across. They are honest and loyal and are extremely versatile and athletic. We have mustangs for adoption at all times and are taking requests for future adoptions.

If you are unable to adopt a mustang please inquire about our unique private or corporate sponsor program. These sponsored mustangs will be trained for special outreach and education programs. Sponsoring a mustang allows you to help both the plight of the American Mustang and help assist your favorite outreach program.

Learn the Language of the Horse!

Dates: (Beginner) June 21-25; (Intermediate) July 12-16; (Advanced) July 26-30
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Where: Here at Unali’yi Farm
Fee: $250 per camper
Description: Introduction to our “Roots to Grow, Wings to Fly” program, with emphasis on horse safety, care, training, and riding.
The camp’s primary focus is to teach young horse lovers to communicate effectively with horses through an understanding of the needs and motivations of this special animal. Riding will be taught from a balanced seat, multi-disciplinary approach that emphasizes using the body in partnership with the rein to produce a calmer, more cooperative horse. Beginner students will be teamed up with one of our family horses at Unaliyi Farm. Intermediate and advanced students may bring their own horse with permission from camp director.

If you are interested in having a horse trained, learning to train yourself, or just curious about how all this stuff works, come see how we do what we do! We welcome observers!

Rider’s Support Group

Dates: 1st Saturday of each month (April-October)
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm

Fees: Participant: $50.00; Auditor: $20
Description: “Roots” Training – You ride the horse you lead!!
This series will be ongoing and will focus on groundwork and its translation into the saddle. Special attention will be given to problem-solving. Compare notes with other riders and learn solutions to common training problems. Small group setting – Lots of individual attention!
